Editorial Policy

FinanceGuideline’s Editorial Policy sets out the principles that guide everything we publish. It exists to give readers reliable content and to make explicit the standards we commit to, the foundation of our Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T).

Core principles

We are committed to accuracy, editorial independence, transparency of sources, and a strict separation between editorial content and advertising.

Reporting and fact-checking

Information is checked against primary sources whenever possible, official documents, studies, public data, and direct statements. Where relevant, we include links to those sources so readers can verify them independently. Rumors and unconfirmed information are not published as fact.

Authorship and expertise

Every article is signed by an identifiable author, with a public bio and credentials. Sensitive topics (health, finance, law, safety) receive extra care and, when necessary, expert review.

Sources and anonymity

We favor named sources. Anonymity is reserved for situations where identification would expose a source to real risk, and is always applied with judgment and accountability.

Independence and advertising

Ads and sponsored content are clearly and explicitly labeled (for example, as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored Content”) and never influence editorial coverage.

Use of artificial intelligence in production

When we use AI tools as an aid, the resulting content goes through responsible human review before publication. Editorial responsibility always rests with an identifiable professional.

Dates and updates

We publish the date of every article and flag when content has been updated, preserving a record of its relevance over time.

Corrections

Errors are corrected transparently, in accordance with our Corrections Policy.
